Program Overview

DAE Software Technology is a comprehensive three-year technical program designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in software technology. The program aims to produce highly skilled and industry-ready professionals who can meet the demands of the rapidly evolving software industry. The curriculum integrates theoretical learning, practical training, and an international exposure component in China, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for the students.

Vision

The vision of the DAE Software Technology program is to “Develop an internationally renowned Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system and centers of excellence. By implementing novel benchmarks, the program aims to produce industry- driven, high-end professionals and skilled workers who can contribute significantly to the software industry”.

Mission

The mission of the DAE Software Technology program is to “develop a competency-based and market-oriented TVET system. By adopting the best international TVET practices and promoting lifelong learning, the program aims to enhance the employability of youth and bridge the gaps between industry and academia. The ultimate goal is to make meaningful contributions to the socio-economic development of Pakistan”.

International Exposure Component

As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to spend one year in China, gaining international exposure and experiencing a different cultural and educational environment. This component aims to broaden students’ perspectives and enhance their understanding of the global software industry.

Qualification Stream

DAE Software Technology falls under the technical stream, offering specialized training in software technology and related fields.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students should have completed their Matric or O-levels with science subjects as a prerequisite for admission into the DAE Software Technology program.
